Does a Nightforce NXS have the travel to 100 yrd zero a 338 using barrett 40moa Exrings?

Yes, except for the NXS 8-32x56mm & the NXS 12-42x56mm. Those two will not work with 100 yd zero and a 40 MOA base.

My 3.5-15x50 does. I think most of the others do also.
