Quick question regarding skid plate sizing

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to order some items from triad tac, one of those items is a skid plate.... what size is needed for a McM A5 stock? I was thinking large.

The skid pad is a waste of money. All you guys buying Gucci crap that you don't need to buy that you can make or do in 5 minutes at home for $1-$2 and achieve the same results.

You want to provide proper padding to your rifle simple fixes

Use one of the following items and trip it to work:
1. small kitchen sponge
2. piece of foam from a mat
3. piece of porous Styrofoam
4. a maxi pad
5. a large piece of gauze pressure bandage

something on those lines. Trim the stuff and use some quality duct tape and you have now padded your rifle stock for under $2

You just saved yourself $35 and didn't have to wait or pay for shipping.

I improvised enough in the service... I appreciate anyone that engineers their own kit, but a $35 item isn't worth my time, as I'd rather be reloading, shooting and reloading again...

There are plenty of do it your self types here that can appreciate good info.

Your rebuttal holds no value... as I do a lot of my own work... just not small shit that's properly done by a quality person connected to our industry. I'm not offended by your comments... kinda makes laugh...

ps. You don't join the service to get rich but you do figure out what's worth the coin to have a quality kit.

Get a pair of scissors and a sheet of paper, cut templates to these dimensions and see which best fits your rifle

Micro= 7" Long x 1.5" Wide
Small= 7" Long x 4 1/2" Wide
Large= 7 " Long x 6 1/2" Wide
