I've just started using QL and I find it frustrating. I feel like I take a trip back to 1997 every time I fire it up. Anyway, the issue at hand is that it keeps overestimating my known velocity by about 75 - 100ft/sec. I am inputing values from previous loads just so I can learn the program. I have a lot of data on these loads so I'm confident in what my impirical evidence is telling me, but I'd like to know where the issue is so I can correct for it in the future. Is it me or the program?

Also, can you not use QL for wildcats?

Also, can you not use QL for wildcats?

Yes, the easiest way to do it is to select the cartridge it’s based on, then change parameters and save it as a new cartridge via Data,Add,Change,Load,Save > Change data records in active file menu.

Also, don’t expect super accurate predictions from QL. It’s designed to let you simulate component combos and test without shooting, so use it for ballpark info, not exact predictions.
