So if I’m only going to run it in a PCC, could I just run the full stack? Or is it better to use a spacer?

Absolutely no reason to get the jig. A practiced hand can do well with the jig and a hand drill, but some people still don't end up with centered holes. Absolutely use the lathe if you have the option. Make your first hole through small enough to miss the clip as they try to pull the drill off center. Then drill to the size you want.Sorry for the barrage of questions. I assume the 45 drill fixture will work with the brandywine SS and Ti cones? And lastly, if I have a lathe is there any reason to get the fixture?
@padom so do I understand that the Ti 30cal cups are about ready to order from Brandywine? Also I’m confused on the status of the entrance/exit caps. I know this shutdown has slowed things down for them, just wondering where we stand on getting these ordered to finish my 2 cans.
Thank you for all your work getting these sourced in Ti padom!
Waiting on caps to be finalized. That's where it stands
TI update?
Thanks! There was an update in the other thread that SS were going out or gone out and Ti are being worked on next.
Well my Rugged 45 and QB 45 are identical sound wise side by side. I shoot Xtreme 165gr with 3.5gr VV N340...stupid quite and hits like sledge on steel. I haven't found anything quieter
Here my son shooting my AR9 with the 165gr Xtreme's. Stupid quite, accurate. So much fun to shoot
@padom I’ve got a question about swapping between the .45 piston and 9mm piston. I ordered the QB tube, .45 piston and booster assembly, and those look like they work great (still waiting on the Ti cups so I don’t know for sure), but then I decided I’d like to be able to shoot it on my 9mm.
I ordered the 9mm piston for my thread pitch, and when I dropped it in the booster housing, it wobbles all over the place (example). Is there another part I’m missing? There’s no way I’d shoot that as-is...
Yea the new 9mm piston booster end cap I've been waiting for from Preston for what 9 months now. No reply
@padom I just got a refund notice for my Ti cups from Brandywine with no other explanation. Any insights??
Damn really? Any way to not punish the rest of us for some people being assholes?Yep people complaining they haven't received them and telling me I should go hunt these guys down so I texted the owner and he said im refunding all the orders.
Just send it to Ecco to get recored. That’s what I’m going to do.Damn really? Any way to not punish the rest of us for some people being assholes?
Pretty sure Ecco only does stainless
Who is Ecco and are they doing Ti cups that fit the QB .30cal tube?
I sent you a PM regarding the inserts with the 45 trap - wanting to make sure I get a hold of someone with my order.Yep people complaining they haven't received them and telling me I should go hunt these guys down so I texted the owner and he said im refunding all the orders.

PM me your order #
PM replied. I dont work for, have any affiliation or contact with QB...not sure why you're contacting me about your order...
This was why - Just trying to get into contact with them.
Gotcha. You didnt read through the thread. Thats not QB Im referring to (brandywine cleaning products)...thats a 3rd party company we were talking about and discussing that was making SS cups for QB cans because QB wouldnt make them....they arent making them anymore either
Are there other booster and piston assemblies that are compatible with the QB 9mm kit?
