If the AI mount fits it's a great often overlooked option. I believe they also make a 28 MOA version. I'm sure the angle of the engagement matters as well, so it goes beyond just having the right width, especially for something that has no recoil lug. It's like the ARCA problem, it's not just the width of the rail, but the angles of the clamp have to fit the rail angles right or the holding force is compromised.
Everyone seems to love the 419 mount and in the end it's what I went with. With a .22 I'm sure it doesn't matter, but I'd like it better if it engaged at least one or two of the rail divots with a set screw as some of the other designs do. Over the years I've just seen too many things that only "clamp" on a rail slide/slip if they don't have a "recoil lug" If I had it to do over again I'd probably do the MPA version. It seems similar to the 419, but instead of a bubble level (that the scope blocks the view of anyway) they have a set screw that engages one of the rail divots. They also put a relief cut in the rear clamp which probably allows it to clamp a bit more evenly in the rear. The only "downside" to the MPA is it's 6061 vs 7075 for the 419.
