Range Report Range Report - 6mm Creedmoor

I made a quick trip to the range this afternoon to get in a little shooting practice. Decent results, especially for factory ammo with 10 shots fired in under two minutes (PRS style). I started with a fouled but cold rifle barrel (like in PRS) which resulted in the upper right flyer. The rifle tends to shoot high on the first cold barrel shot so a little hold-under for the first round might be in order.

Nice rifle and shooting. With a little more trigger time you might be able to print some .5 MOA groups!

I think if I fired slowly (not 10 shots in two minutes) the group would tighten up considerably. I am happy with the Howa/Oryx combination.

Yeah those oryx chassis are very nice. I’ve never had a Howa but a buddy of mine in FL swears they are very accurate for the money.
