finally got a decent day to go out and really try to get some decent groups with my newly acquired savage, story is i bought the gun at dicks for the hell of it, saw it on wall and said what the hell lol . the gun has no modifications all 100% right from savage with the shitty tupperware stock, 22in fluted barrel and accutrigger , i added a harris bipod, a badger 20 moa base badger rings, and my trijicon tr23 i had on a previous ar 15. i shot 100 yds off the bipod and a sand bag using had loaded sierra 200gr matchkings , 38.0g vargett and federal match primers

last shot for fun
i had 2 more targets after i rezeroed but they were ruined as it was pretty rainy and muddy.

That looks like an accu-stock. If it is, it is a very good stock.

im pretty sure it isnt when i pulled the action out to adjust the trigger i didnt see any aluminum chassis in it, or maybe i just dont know what im looking for.

you would know. i also read that they were no longer installing the wedge in accu-stock models.

Nice rifle. Got to say like the hell out of my savages all shoot great without any mods. Upgrade that stock and its a keeper . Mine really likes the 175 smk with varget. Good luck

thanks guys, a new stock is in the order for next year, im thinking manners or another stockade stock like which is on my 110, also thinking about cutting the barrel down and threading it. im going to try to get some better groups next day i can get to range, i have a few new loads i worked up and hopefully i have some better results.

What model SAV would you buy in 6br with the target acc-trigger. Their web sight only shows the target trig only on 1 model, if my memory workd ok.
