Been reading threads on rangefinders and i'm sorta stuck between a good "single"/monocular vs ranging binos. Having been to a class recently, the idea of accurate distance kinda hit a nerve as I couldn't range for squat through my reticle.
Intent: Mostly hunting at 1000 and in (and realistically 600 and in)
Secondary: Ranges for matches/targets (again 1000 and in)
I realize binos would double the cost, but i'm curious if I really need that for my intended purpose.
What's better for my intended use of hunting and matches under 1000 binos or a "handheld"
