Yeah, saw 9 of them today on various tables in Virginia Beach. All claimed to do hits in excess of 2500 yards on a non reflective target. As long as you have DOD included in your name somewhere they would be glad to sell you one or more.............

Of course I couldn't get one to take me up on a 1 hour road trip to laze my 16" X 24" steel at 2200 no shit yards.

Cheers,

Doc

I just got a quote from them for a 10C at $5900 (15C at $7700). Yikes. Who'd'a thunk the compass option would add that much more. And the tripod was quoted at seven hundred and change, not that I need one but asked if it was included in the pkg. Guess I'll re-RFQ for one w/o the compass, hopefully they haven't increased in price. Dang, that's one seriously expensive LRF, for us civilian guys anyway.

How fare can you range with the Swarovski?

Re: Rangefinder for ELR

I bought a Newcon LRB 3000 Pro from a fellow Hide member & I could not be more happy with the results. It will range 18” round steel targets out to 1200 yards with no problems if you are using a tripod. I will admit that they are not as small, as light, and the optics may not be as good as the Swaro; however, they will range a lot further. When the weather clears a bit, I plan to find the true limits on ranging steel targets.

Re: Rangefinder for ELR

As far as ranging with the Swaro, I wish I knew. Mine is on its way to Austria for repair because I was getting erratic readings past 800 yds. Just got a loaner from Swaro and haven't had a change to get out to the wide open yet to check it.
