I really don't have a question but was just wanting to pick some brains as to the quality of this scope. I have searched and read alot and in my opinion I can't find anything else that fits my needs more-Zero Stop,MOA reticle,FFP,under $2,000, and 5-20 magnification.

Is this scope GTG on a work/battle rifle and what, if any drawbacks to this scope is there?

Again, I have read and searched A LOT but everyone has their opinion and was just wanting to hear from some people here who have put this scope through its paces.

    Thanks,
    Taylor

    Re: Razor HD MOA

I just got one in hand 2 days ago and I am very impressed with it overall. I will be posting a similar experience with mine as to what LoneWolfUSMC did but with the updates to the scope that Vortex have made in recent weeks.

    Re: Razor HD MOA

If you did a search, well then you seen a few reviews of mine. As stated before built like a tank to perform and be used, as well as depended on for superior service in the field.

Satisfied with mine, used on a Barrett 338 Lapua Mag.

If you got any questions fire away or use the PM

Well, maybe if you do buy a used one, they will include the original receipt too. Only reason i say this, is so when the improvements for the eye box and stuff are available, i believe you'll be able to send it in for the improvements free of charge.

Valid point, but as long as you can send in the {scope} to Vortex when improvements are offered, or if you mess your scope up accidently do to dropping it off of a transport or hillside the VIP warranty will get you taken care of. No matter how many folks end up owning the scope in time, it’s covered – cool stuff there.

The only thing that I noticed is the eye box in the back requiring you to have your anchor / cheek weld true and consistent, which actually is a good thing. I never had any issues relating to this, you train yourself to hunker in and it becomes fast and automatic. The new eye box that everyone is talking about is going to make this a little more user friendly. Which is only another step in the right direction indeed.

The Razor will work well for you

    Re: Razor HD MOA

I have one in MOA coming in the mail. I chose this scope becaues it is built like a tank, MOA/MOA FFP, My previous experience with Vortex scopes, the customer service, and the bang for the buck. Talk with Liberty optics if you want a great deal.

I'll give a range report (not that it's needed) when I get it on my rifle.

oh - wow that is good customer service - normally companies wouldn't do that. I'm hoping the vortex group buy will happen!
