3-18x42 model. I really like the glass, knobs, and the reticle. My don't likes are the magnification range (it's really more of a 6-18 and not a 3, there's tons of tunneling in the lower powers), short eye relief, and vodka-fueled quality control (I'm on my 2nd and have read a few '3rd time's a charm' stories on the net about this model).

The newest IOR's should be much more comparable than the old 3-18x42.

Scott from LO says there is virtually no tunnelling at the bottom end + they redesigned the ocular eye piece for better eye relief.

how about the reticle thickness of the Razor compared to the F1?

The f1 reticle is.07 mil thick. I BELIEVE the razor's reticle is .06 mil thick

Really not much visual difference in thickness between the two. Both allow the shooter to shoot at very small targets.

A guy here showed me a trick with the Razor EBR 2 reticle. You dial down, left 1 mil and use one of the "christmas tree" dots as an aiming point and you can see *really* small stuff... like a clay pigeon at 1500 yds!

Sounds like the thickness wouldnt be an issue then, if I get the razor I will probably get the EBR-3
