I figured I'd post this in hopes of helping out those looking for a Chargemaster or other RCBS tools. After trying out my friends Chargemaster I decided that I had to have one myself. I searched the web to see who had the best price and found them on sale at Natchez for $289.95 with a $50.00 mail in rebate. To qualify for the rebate you need to spend $300.00 on RCBS reloading equipment. No big deal, just add a primer pocket brush or reloading trays, etc and you're there. I added a rock chucker supreme, also on sale for $139.95. All in all I have $405.00 invested after the rebate (including shipping which was roughly $25.00). Not a bad deal!

I been in the same market for the last month. I been trying to hold out for a good cheap used one either off ebay or the hide here. They seem to be really holding their resale value really well.... Natchez has been the cheapest I seen with for a brand new one. =/

This "sale" has been going on for years.

I bought one a year or two on the same "sale".

Still a wicked buy. I'm not ultra happy about it's performance, but it does help.

289 is a rather good price.
Paid 320 for my last one, just above 500 dollars imported and taxed.
Compared to Miday here it's still quite cheap as they retail them for 950$ and they use longer to deliver in country, then Sinclair does form the US.
Be glad you don't live here hehe.

What didn't you like about its performance? Have you compared it to something you liked more?

I have not compared it another model.

It's not accurate enough for precision or long range use. If you trust the scale you will think it is, but if you follow up the chargemaster metering with a beam scale, or another quality scale you will see the variations are large, at least for my liking.

I weigh every single load it produces on a beam scale. Because of this, I dispense low and make up the difference with a trickler.

The machine has the Mcdonalds straw and programming modifications to help speed the operation and improve dispensing. Neither worked wonders.

The scale on the until will say it dispenses perfect every time. Hence people believe it's accurate. I think most don't review it's loads. If you let the load sit on the unit after a certain duration it will show a more accurate weight which is often not the desired dispensed load.

Keep that in mind. I find it helpful because it's better than a powder thrower with extruded powder, but still requires the trickle to be accurate.

At best it's good for plinking ammo. I wouldn't trust it for precision or long range.

Still waiting for my Rebate after 2 months, but love the dispenser. If you watch every load, some may be over by up to 0.5 grs., so just dump them back in the powder reservoir. I have found that between 20-25% of charges are off, but still works faster than trying to manually trickle each load. Really speeded up my reloading. I guess the Rebate will show up eventually.

These work great, but definitely get the McDonalds straw! Just put the McDonalds straw in the dispensing tube yesterday. Before the straw, had to throw 84 charges to get 50 accurate H4350 loads for my 260. After the straw, only had to throw 52 charges for the same 50 accurate loads. Big time saver!
