Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to RCBS's Customer Service department. I bought a used Pro2000 press and had about a half dozen parts missing and RCBS has taken 3 diffenert calls from me on getting the parts. And so far all the parts have been free. I was willing to pay for the parts but they said it's no charge. Just thought I'd post this up when most of the time all we hear are about bad service but not with the RCBS group!

RCBS rocks ! I had a chargemaster go bad after 3+ yrs. It was no longer in warranty, but I figured I'll call before ordering a new one. They offered to replace it with a new one for $45. I was extremely happy to say the least.

RCBS customer service is every bit as good as Dillon's. When I first bought my Pro 2000, I had an show stopping operator error. I thought my press was really screwed up. Called CS and a very patient gentleman walked me through taking it apart and putting it back together correctly. Turned out I was the one that was screwed up. He never once made me feel like an idiot!! That's great customer service. And I will not even get into all the replacement parts that they have sent for free over the years.

Re: rcbs customer service

I can't remember what it was, but I had to order a replacement piece for one of their dies a few months back. Same experience as you guys...no problems, it came for free in an envelope in the mail, no hassle, no fuss, no problems. Excellent customer service.

In the shooting industry as a whole, I think we are in the "good ole days" right now when it comes to matters such as are being discussed here. The community is close-knit, companies are relatively small, customer service is priority #1 (for 99% of the companies any of us deal with at least), and they don't have a problem making sure that their customers are completely satisfied. Very cool to be able to call a rifle manufacturer and talk to their head gunsmith, or speak to the CEO of a machining operation that made you a set of mounts, for instance.

RCBS has awesome customer service. I purchased a 2 die set for my 223 and had the decapping pin broke. They sent me 5 new ones free of charge, no questions asked. And I bought STANDARD die set, cost me like $30 when it was new. Just because of that experience, I stay loyal to RCBS

+1 for RCBS

I use mainly only RCBS and they take case of me every time I need some thing replaced.

I concur with all of the positive RCBS statements. I stuck a few cases in one of my dies and finally buggered it all to hell. After I got it cleared the last time I noticed some scratches inside of the die. RCBS took it back and buffed them out, sent me a new de-priming stem and a package of de-priming pins. No cost to me and quick turn around times. Top notch work in my book.

Re: rcbs customer service

+1 for great customer service. I have always received excellent support even when the fault was clearly mine - I won't mention any specific stupid error I made, but suffice to say that RCBS always worked with me and always went above and beyond to keep me happy. Just another satisfied RCBS customer! Tony

I haven't heard everything but I've never actually heard of 'bad' customer service over any legitimate issue from any of our reloading tool makers.
