Does anyone have any experience with the gold metal seater die-i need to correct some issues due to using 7wsm winchester brass -for example run out -and how does it compare to the redding? And if not why? thanks so much for any info !

I have the RCBS Gold medal 2 die sets in .308, 300 win mag & .338 LM. I love them because of the way you place the bullet in from the side & the precise measurments you can achieve. I don't have any experience with the Redding to compare.

I have both and like the RCBS better. I can see the bullet center, make sure it goes is straight it seems I have more control, but the redding seems to do fine also.

Both are good dies,I have both and I prefer the redding. I get less run out with the redding.The redding die had a better coating. The rcbs need to be oiled to keep the rust down.I have never had to put oil on the redding. Both are good dies.

All dies are "good", no one markets bad dies.
For best rifle accuracy (using threaded dies and presses) only the Forster and Redding seaters are better than others because ONLY their full length body and bullet sleeves contain and align both cases and bullets before seating starts. That beats short seating sleeves that only contain the bullets while the cases are unsupported and 'guided' only by the ram while the case is (hopefully) more or less balanced on top of an extended shell holder gimmick.

You may have other issues. If that's the case, the seater dies will not fix it. They are not magic.
