I just put a Remy 700 5R in jail as we call it out here in Komifornia (10 day waiting period) and I was wondering a good Picatinny rail to add to the button on the stock? I am looking at installing an Atlas Bipod and thought this will be needed.

Seems like there are plenting of other threads for my other questions. Maybe we should talk the moderators into adding a section for the manufacturer? This way it would be easier to search for questions which have already answered.

Seekins and Atlas has what you're looking for. If you're sticking with the factory HSP stock, The sling stud spacing is 2".

Atlas bt15 would work.

Great thing about the BT15 is you can always move it to other stocks should the need arise.

10 day wait for in CA, even for a bolt action rifle? Ugh, that has to suck.
I walked into Clyde Armory on Monday and walked out with a new 5R. And I was even an out-of-state buyer.
