If you ever get a chance to visit Mike Rock, they have those old style 1930's PW gear-driven cut rifling machines on the floor. I can only imagine how much it would cost to manufacture one of those machines today.
Pity he didn't update more photos of the machinery, we did a lot of upgrading and building up machines since the original article. The machinery is one thing, but the personnel at border is top notch. and that's what makes it work..specialists.
Got a Lothar Walther polygonal rifle, really like it. Not sure if it really increases v0 due to more surface touching (better seal around the bullet) but if I have to clean it, it's easy as pie.
