Rechambering?

I will have 2,000 rounds through my Criterion/Savage 6mm CM barrel pretty soon. Is there any support for having it rechambered?

Im sure w 2k rounds you have a ton of fire cracking. At this point its probably not worth setting the chamber back. Do you have a borescope?

I am also wondering whether it makes sense. How much more life will it give a barrel that has 2000 rounds through it.

Why pay someone 300 bucks to redo a used barrel for only half the expected life again when you can get a brand new one for 450 to your door.

if you have a lathe and reamer and want a 16" fun toy then sure. consider it chambering practice

buy another cheap criterion and carry on
