Recommend me a powder trickler

Are all powder tricklers pretty much equal in performance? If not which should I purchase and which to stay away from?

Research the Omega Trickler---little more expensive, but might just be worth it.

Unless you look at electric ones, prolly not much difference in them. The RCBS one that I have is heavy enough to not scoot around easily, and operates pretty smoothly. The Redding looks to be built just as well. Have not really paid much attention to any of the others. Which one are you thinking of? Lightman

The Omega is a good trickler, he got in with Alan from the UK and added his TargetMaster shut off system to it.
If your usig a beam type scale the Omega System or the TargetMaster is the way to go.
Google TargetMaster or youtube targetmaster.

How much is the target master? Is it sold in it to the USA? If so by who?

After a bit more research, only sold out of Europe and its $156 USD + shipping.

IMHO if you want a twist one by hand get a Redding, it's heavy, and feels like a quaility, on the electric side Omega is it.

I absolutely agree with 427Cobra. The Redding is very good quality and heavy. FAR better than the RCBS that I used to use. It's not very expensive either!

I second (third) the above, I run a Redding for manual, and an Omega for electric.

I forked out the few extra bucks for a Redding trickler. To use it on my Dillon beam scale, I need to put an empty plastic primer tray under it to clear the dish of my scale but it is solid and will last forever. It is cast iron and is plenty heavy for its size. I also recently bought the Redding trickler, and have to say I don't regret it for a second. And, it sure beats sprinkling powder into the pan a pinch at a time!

I've got both Redding and RCBS and while the Redding is more solidly built I find the RCBS to be easier to trickle individual grains with, the plastic sleeve just seems to be smoother than the Reddings metal sleeve.

I checked about 3 weeks ago, and it was $215 W/shipping. The exchange rate is not so friendly... I think it would be worth it, as it is a very slick piece of kit!

I just got a Redding trickler for my portable kit and was surprised at how heavy it is. I thinking there must be lead in the base. I think I paid $11.

I have always used the RCBS powder tickler. However, I bought a Lymand Eazy Tickler 3 years back and must sy it is Excellent and works like charm.
