Recommendations on a 22 suppressor?

Recommendation? But a dedicated take down can for 22lr and don’t shoot 22lr through a sealed can. Aluminum is slightly more maintenance, but boretech c4 eliminator makes all but the worst fouling melt off and wipe away. Regular cleaning makes cleaning easy.

Call around to some different shops man. I wouldn’t discount the 22TD because it’s out of stock. @Mile High Shooting may have some. Maybe @HansohnBrothers? Or even a call to Thunderbeast to see who might have gotten or are getting some in stock soon.
I've had the Sparrow for 5-6 years and knowing what I know now, I'd buy it again. They are priced right for a 22 suppressor, easy to take apart, easy to clean and just as quiet as anything else out there.
I purchased a Sparrow when they first came out and I would purchase another one. Easy to take apart and clean!
I bought my TBAC Takedown from Hansohn Brothers.......couldn't be happier. I'd suggest getting on their waitlist.
I've got a Sparrow but the only reason I've got it is due to the BOGO they had in '19 IIRC. The BOGO promotion was a total FUBAR, as they apparently underestimated the potential # of free silencers they would ship out or didn't even think of that part of the promotion. Had to wait for the Sparrow (freebie) to be shipped to the dealer, then do the paperwork, then wait for the tax stamp to be processed. It works fine, but I've got a Ruger branded 22rf can as well, and both work as intended.
Ordered a TBAC 22 through my local dealer on 12/31/20. The TBAC website said to expect a serial number between 10/21-11/21... Almost a year wait to start the 5-8 month wait. Im sure other retailers have them enroute and they’ll be popping up online. I’ll be shopping around.
That's painful. I would wait until you find one in stock somewhere. I bought a TBAC 22 in stock from Mile High mid-June and had it in hand mid-Oct. I couldn't imagine waiting almost a year for the serial and then another wait on top of that.
I have a Liberty Regulator and an Erector by Q and like both.
Think about what you want to use it on, calibers and weight. The Erector is ridiculously light and great on pistols. Still pretty quiet in shorter configurations too. But, it is only rated for 22lr. The Regulator on the other hand is rated up to 17hmr and 22mag, but a little on the heavy side for pistols. Great on a rifle though.

I have a Sparrow and really like it. Have been using it for .22 NRL and PRS matches. I am also thinking about a TBAC 22 Takedown to dedicate to the rifle I use.
The Sparrow is very easy to take apart and clean which is very important for a 22 suppressor.

Thanks! We are expecting 22TD to be delivered in March. There is a small possibility we will get some sooner.
I have the Switchback and absolutely love it. Totally modular and easy to disassemble. You can switch lengths if you want to shorten it for pistol use.
I’m probably going to get flamed for this, but I did a form 1 quietbore for my .22 and had it approved and shooting in around 30 days.
Depending on what you are looking to do, might be a solid option. All of the previous posts list some quality cans, but I don’t think the quietbore is shabby for the cost and how quick you can be running suppressed.

QB .22 can was my first. Not the first one I bought, but being Form 1, first one in hand. Helped ease the wait on the Kraken. Plus I got to learn about suppressor ownership; how to treat aluminum baffles to make cleaning easier, how often to clean, expectations about performance... It was a worthwhile experience. I've now got 3 rimfire cans, and still just the one 9mm can.
I own a dozen or so suppressors currently, two are 22lr. First was a Gemtech Outback II, bought it back in 2008. It's been a great suppressor. Had it re-cored to removable titanium baffles back in 2011. Previously, the Outback II was a sealed suppressor. I also have a SilencerCo Sparrow from 2012. Also a great suppressor.
It's nice to have 2 separate 22lr cans...I can run two host weapons concurrently without having to move a hot suppressor around.
If I was to get another 22lr suppressor right now, I'd go with a Form 1 DIY model, like a Quietbore. Since 22lr is not considered a high pressure round, I'd be confident that the Quitebore would be sufficient for any 22lr host. I haven't seen a head to head of a Quietbore vs a Sparrow, etc. but I bet they would be very close in noise reduction.
For other calibers I wouldn't go with a DIY Form 1 model, but for 22lr I don't see any advantage in spending $400+ on a factory model.
Regardless of what model you choose, stay away from aluminum baffles. They are more difficult to clean because it limits you to what chemicals/process you can use that won't harm the aluminum. I just looked at the Quietbore website, and their 22 Form 1 model is $280 for titanium baffles. That is a great price. Under $500 all in with the stamp, and a Form 1 is taking less than 60 days for approval.

I looked at the TB Takedown and Dead Air Mask. From what I read both are great. I found the Mask on Silencer Shop and the purchase couldn’t have been easier.
Its not the most expensive but ive been running a huntertown arms and its easy to take apart to clean.
