I am wanting to build a somewhat lightweight short action 7 saum for primarily a hunting rifle. Plan to use a Manners LRH CF stock, Impact 737 short action, Hawkins hunter bottom metal and magazine, triggertech diamond with either an ATACR or TT optic. I am torn on the barrel between a Bartlein and Proof CF barrel. Probably going to do a 22” barrel because I will be running a Scythe suppressor on it 100% of the time. What twist do most recommend? Im thinking for bullets, pretty much anything from a 162 to a 180, not sure I can get a 190 in a mag in short action. I will be using ADG brass and I have several powders I can try, including RL26. What reamer/ freebore would be recommended? Everything I have read says to go with the .090” freebore. Any recommendations for changes in any of this?
