My Form 1 (paper, trust) went pending 2 July 2018. Tuesday will be a year. I called them on Friday and they said it is still pending. Lately some guys are getting their Form 1 back in a couple of months if not sooner. Is there anyone at the ATF I can reach out to in order to find out what the issue it?

You can ask for the exact examier and see what they say... if not it's just going to take more time, there's no rhyme or reason. Just the way it is these days !
Sounds pretty typical, actually. I've seen many that go about a year. But not many that go much longer, so Id say yer close.

Thatd be awesome. With eFiled Form 1s going less than 30, I wondered if cans would be faster, soon.
My last SBR eFiled Form1 was 16 days !
Paper forms are taking up to 13 months for form 1 and form 4's. Efiled form 1's are coming back fast. OP should sit and wait for another month and the Form will probably be approved. There is nothing you can do.
Interesting - My first Form 4 was also 7 months. A buddy of mine purchased his first can in 10/18. Ouch - he is already freaking out. Should I tell him it is going to be longer or just acted surprised?
How does the e-form work with prints and photos? This form was submitted through a Silencer Shop kiosk. Called the ATF again. Gave me some BS story about the FBI not being able to clear one of the responsible persons......the same old guy they've cleared about 10 times before.
They send you an email with a cover sheet. You throw cover sheet, prints and photos in an envelope and snail mail it to the ATF.
I think photo gets uploaded, prints and cover letter are snail mail. Check the e-form 1 thread, lots of guys have done it
What’s the cover sheet look like? I got an email on my first form 1 but it looked like it was a copy of the paperwork filled out online. Should I expect another email or do I print and send this in?
form letter with a Bar Code for the control # they assign. Will have your name, ph#, date submitted, control # and the serial # of the device you submitted.
ok, the form letter should have been attached to the same email that had your copy of the submitted form. Mine came with two attachments, Form.pdf and CoverLetter.pdf. I got two emails, one with the attachments, and one as a receipt of payment.
You’re right. I did receive two emails. One was payment confirmation and the second was the filled out ATF form the says “draft” across the middle. This is the form.pdf. No cover letter attachments Thank you!
Hmmmm, log in to the website and see if your form 1 shows submitted/in process. IF it does, I'd reach out and let them know you need your cover letter. G/L!
The attachments don't show up correctly on apple mobile devices. Open the email from a PC and you should see the cover letter attachment. Had a friend that waited weeks when this was all he had to do.
I logged into my atf eform account and found the cover letter under electronic documents. To the OP, sorry for the highjack.
