Most of us have been using Eotech, Aimpoint sights on our tactical weapons. I noticed that most of the IDPA Open circuit uses Cmore Railway sights. Has anyone ever considered using this type of sight on a tactical weapon? would it hold up? It seems that the pistols would undergo a TON of abuse. Any opinions?

Re: Red Dot Holographic Sights

i could be wrong but i believe the housings on the cmores arent as thick, hence durable as aimpoints and such. The idea with the cmore sights is weight, they need to be lightweight as to not have a heavy beast on your pistol. For "tactical" applications I think they arent solid enough to be dropped and banged on, dont get me wrong I have toyed with one or two and they are built well, but built well for their role. Disregard if i'm talkin out of my ass, and tell me to shut my cum dumpster if i am way off base
