My die situation for my .22BR has been the only real aggravation with my first wildcat.
I bought a Redding FL die that WAY undersized the neck.
Sooo, I bought a Redding Bushing Neck Die that works well, but I need to bump my shoulders as chambering is really tight.
Looking at a FL Bushing die, while it would work with my Bushing, Midway shows out of stock and no backorder. They DO have Redding .22BR body dies in stock (for quite a bit less money). I don't really mind sizing the body (primarily bumping shoulders back .002") then necking down in two separate operations, I just don't want another die I don't get along with. Bear in mind, all my dies up until my BR were either Lee or RCBS FL dies, hence the lack of a clue.
Any opinions here on Redding Body Dies?

I use them for most of my cals that i reload no complaints from me. For cals that i have multiple rifles, i just have 1 body die set up for each rifle and share the neck die. Just a little finicky to get it set up initially.

Body die will work well if you don't mind two sizing ops. Will Allow more control over neck sizing if that matters to you.

It may be worth contacting Redding to see if they will do anything about your standard fl die's neck dia.

I sent the die, along with some Lapua cases with collapsed shoulders (it was sizing necks all the way down to .232"!). They said they ran some cases through it and it was fine and the die was within spec and mailed it back to me. It was crushing about 1 out of every 5 or 6 cases and those that survived necking down were very difficult to pull or push the case over the expander ball (using Imperial Wax and a Rock Chucker). I bought their bushing neck die (shoulda bought the bushing FL die), and I do like it. Redding and Forester are about the only two making dies for the .22BR (have the Forester comp seater and it's a peach!), but on future projects, I'll try to avoid Redding like the clap, especially where non-bushing FL dies are concerned.

Soooo, I'll roll with the body die.......
