Join the contest Subscribeok. this would be on an ar, mostly a coyote rig. is the elevation turret in the way at all?I have the Vortex Razor red dot on mine it's mounted vertically right in front of the elevation turret. I originally had it canted but it poked me carrying patrol.
I have really liked it when I'm varmint hunting. I have had varmints pop up close and it's hard to pick up with the 5-25 when there that close
how does it mount?ok. this would be on an ar, mostly a coyote rig. is the elevation turret in the way at all?
where would I find these mounting systems?Very possible and common. Depends on the reflex you want to run. Each require a specific mount. Then you also have to consider if you want it to be integrated into your scope mount or if it’s going to attach directly to your scope tube. Are you going to run offset at a 45 or at the 12 above/in front of the elevation turret. All of these things dictate what mounting system you can go with.
that's what I had in mind. need a 1 inch ring.Something like this, only mounted in front of the elevtion turret?

It depends, but start with your scope mount manufacturer and red dot make/model.where would I find these mounting systems?

all good questions. decided to start over on optics, since my mark ar4 is calibrated for 55 gr bullets and I'm now shooting 77s. I now have some ideas as to options. as soon as I get a new scope mounted may look you up for more answers, if that's all right. It depends, but start with your scope mount manufacturer and red dot make/model.
-What make/model red dot are you wanting to mount?
-Are you attaching directly to the scope tube or the scope mount?
-What brand scope mount are you using?
-What size scope tube?
-Are you wanting to mount it at the top or the 45 offset of the scope?
Without that info, you can’t really do anything. But google RMR offset scope mounts and browse through the image results. You can then see ideas of how it’s done and decide what will work best for your needs. Then google the manufacturers to see who makes offset mounts for your red dot, scope, and/or scope mount.

Same for meI don't care much for a red dot up on top of a scope, its like putting one up on top of the M16 carry handle. On an AR platform the 45 offset works much better for me if using a red dot.
