I just tried to load 260 on my Dillon and have found that some of my pieces of Lapua brass do not like to fit into the shell holder. The problem happens in each of the 5 slots of the shellholder and it is only with certain pieces of brass. Anyone else reloading for precision rifle on their Dillon have issues like this?

Do the 650 shellplates have a central locking bolt, like the 550b, where you can tighten it down, restricting rotational movement?

If so, try loosening the bolt and see if having some more wiggle room for the plate, allows the cutouts to grab the extractor groove more readily?

Rim thickness, or groove depth?

If Lapua brass is not dimensionally consistent/correct, it's not the shell plate's fault.

Well, I am running 43.1 of H4350 which is a bit over, but I have never had any issues raising the bolt or other overpressure signs. Also, as per Dillon, I am using the same shellplate as I do for 45ACP and I have never had an issue with 45.
