I was at a friend of mines house today and here is his loading bench. Does anyone see any problems here. I wish I could show the entire area. How do I help him?

Re: Reloading bench of a friend of mine

LOL, mine looked worse 2 days ago, I just said fuck it and did some spring cleaning if you will.

Just tell him you will help him clean it and start moving shit around, that will get him to jump in and start cleaning.

Ummmm.

I would start buy cleaning if off lol. It looks like you have the depth to build some shelves that sits on the back of the table. They don't have to be deep or very tall for that matter.

Then I would attach a taser to his testicals so everytime he doesn't put something back he gets motivation to change his ways.

Be a good picture for one of those "Can you spot the ________ contests. I kinda like the fishing lures hanging in the window. And are those crutches?

It is kinda messy even by my standards, looks like a hobby nearly forgotten and it should be your job to rescue him and lead him back to enlightenment on the fun of reloading and shooting again.

Or one that has already happened.

Remove everything that doesn't pertain to reloading. There won't be much left.

No one can keep their reloading bench that clean Chris

I'd be afraid that I'd get something dirty or out of place. That could be a poster picture I'm sure for some magazine on reloading/neatness ...

Hmmm, I think the spacing between a couple of those emtpy cases in front of the 3rd shell plate holder from the left is a bit wider than the rest. Are they glued down? Nice display but how do you keep them there?

Ya have to take a razzing but I can see why a neat organized reloading area is important for safety sakes. I'll just never be able to get to that level of organization and neatness.

The first thing you should do is ask him if he wants help cleaning it up, you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him get organized. Good luck and be patient.

Re: Reloading bench of a friend of mine

I had to do it....The guy is really a top notch shooter. Sorry Elgordo2, I wish he knew where anything is. He jokes about loosing the Cambodian family of 5 somewhere in his garage. The bench is in the garage. It was like going on safari just to get to the bench. I hope to help him straighten is all up when he gets back from his latest hunting trip. Cheers all.
