There are roughly 230 pages in this forum, many of them having 338LM loads shot by various members, with varying successes and failures. Put on a pot of coffee, get comfy and start reading through them for ideas.
Retumbo might be a bit slow for the 250s. I like H-4831sc, H-1000, VV-165 and VV-170 for the lighter tips. RL-25, VV-N560 and a few others, also work.
