reloading room

Well, you guys got me inspired with the reloading room thread. With the winters here in Minnesota being harsh, not much shooting in the sub zero winter, so I figure I'd spend my days in the man cave.

This was my room prior, much like the winters, bleak and dreary.

Now I can enjoy reloading and get away from the wife in the basement. Plus, I got a huge walk in storage closet out of this, and on the other side, I built the stand up freezer right into the wall.

Thank you guys for all the advice on building this out. Would not have been possible without your inspiration, help and tips. Still screwed up a few things, like the door (you can see my patch work in the door frame, but it will get painted over, but hey, learned alot and next room is not gonna have the small mistakes hopefully. I figure for a sump pump room, not too shabby.

Are you implying that he didn't follow all of the principles of Feng Shui correctly?

Re: reloading room

You are correct, though it was the red walls that promped the quip! I do that bit whenever I see red interiors. Supposedly not as calming as blue or earth tones. An old joke from a project I was on 12 years ago for a PITA homeowner who wanted a firetruck red dining room!

Her husband sent our companies, (mine and the painter's) assloads of commercial construction work, so even though we preferred to avoid houses, and didn't care for her or her vast knowledge, we said yes maam and proceeded to please her!

She laughed at the Redrum cracks too!

Padron,

I wish my bench, or area in general, looked that organized!
