Rem 700 build ideas

I don't form brass for my 6.5 Saum and Hornady is supposed to make the brass for the 300PRC but I don't know when. The cost is relatively low and it doesn't have a belt like the 300wm. I think it has little more case capacity as well.

Well then in that case where do you get your brass from. That would be nice if hornady did(even nicer if lapua did;). How do you like your 6.5 saum?

When brass is starting to be produced, I'm sure there will be a few retailers or gunsmiths that'll stock it.

My 6.5 Saum is nice, I run a little lighter load with the 147's just a tad under 3000fps to preserve brass life, recoil is nice also with the PVA brake I have on it. Now that PRIME is manufacturing 6.5 Saum, better brass may be available soon so it should be a really appealing to non- reloaders (if you can get it in Canada) same goes for the 6.5 PRC with Hornadys support.

Sounds like a cool round. Yah I don’t know about getting it here maybe I could get it shipped. Or just go down and pick it up.

Now that 300 prc is sweet lookin. Do you know of places that make brass. I was looking at the 6.5 Saum, but I don’t really wanna form brass.
The 6.5 SAUM = 6.5 PRC (slight differences).
.300 PRC will be available soon.
The problem is with all the above mentioned cartridges is that Hornady makes the brass.

What’s wrong w/ choosing the .300 WM option & shooting Berger 230 OTMs? It seems like a no brainer. You can still reach out to 2000 yards as well as not being too big to use for hunting, etc. Also, you won’t have to worry about the PSI issue in regards to your action, recoil, etc.
