Sorry if this is a stupid question....
I have a REM 700 SA which is drilled and tapped for a USO MST100 repro mount.
I know that the other REM 700 SA base USO produce (rail version) has the same dimensions, threads (6-48) and screw hole posirions as the repro.
Are the positions of these holes standard on the REM 700 SA receiver? Or is the receiver drilled/tapped according to the base to be used
So, for example, could a Badger Ordnance or Seekins be straight swapped for the USO repro?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a really stupid question
