Rem 700 SPS replacement trigger gaurd/floorplate?

OK, I just picked up a new 700 SPS. This will be my new project gun. The first thing I noticed is that the trigger guard and floorplate seem to be made out of plastic? Is it really plastic, or just some cheap, cheap ass pot metal? I know Remington has gone plastic crazy in the past few years with their shotgun line, but is this now spilling over into the rifles as well?

Anyway, here's my real question- where can I get metal (or real metal) replacements for the trigger guard and floorplate?

Check out CDI, AIC or Badger Ordnance. Search tool will help you as this has been asked before (by myself too!)but a couple of the guys here machine and sell top drawer bottom metal and detatchable magazines.

I'm saving up for some.

Dude I have the Williams piece, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a BDL type unit.
