The two things I needed to do with my 700 first were get a new stock and replace/fix the trigger.
This trigger is very heavy and the only good thing I can say about it is it has a crisp break.
Skirting the topic of trigger adjustment, people have referred me to this article: http://www.snipercountry.com/Articles/RemingtonTriggers.asp
which describes in detail the 'true' way to adjust your Xmark Trigger.
The question I'm bringing to you all is if anyone has done this, what sort of success or failure has come from it?
And if no one likes this method or has reason to dislike it, should I just say screw it and buy an aftermarket trigger? What would be a fairly inexpensive option for that?
Thanks all
