Hello,

i'm in the market for a 17 hmr and would like to have a model i can mount in a mcmillan a5 or HTG to match my centerfire rifles.
I first though at a cz 453 because i saw HTG stock for it at my gunstore.
Then i saw a 504 on a website and think it will match perfectly my centerfire which are build around rem 700 action.
i know mcmillan or manners don't make stock for this model but do they make a model which could be lightly modified to fit a 504 action?
Thank you for your advice on this built and on the rem 504 quality as i never try it.

Re: remington 504 HB in a mcmillan stock?

I have a Rem 547 in 17HMR. It replaced the 504. It will shoot 3/4 at 100yds. They come with Shilen barrels. The only thing is they are expensive.

I'm not sure about the Rem 504, but I know the CZ models can be mounted in the HTG like you said. Other than that the Sako Quad may be the way to go, I think Mcmillan can inlet most of their tactical stocks for this action.

Hopefully someone will have more info on the Rem 504, good luck!

call McMillian, they used to custom inlet any of their stocks to your rifle.

Call up Dixon gunoworks if McMillan is taking too long.
