I just got this rifle on GBer for what I think was a good deal. Not sure what I want it for..but it looked cool, Obviously set up for Silhouette competition. Stock was advertised as synthetic, but pretty sure it's wood with textured paint. Barrel is a Hart in 308, Timney trigger, no idea who did the work.
Friend of mine is a master class rimfire silhouette shooter, and wants the Sightron scope for his Anschutz Super Air..so I will probably put a cheap scope on it, until I figure out what I want to do with it.
Looks like EGW makes a pic base for it.
Stock is bedded, but I didn't see any pillars, and the LOP is to long for me.
I suck at any kind of precision rifle, above 22LR, but I was able to shoot the pictured group with FGMM 175s off a bench set up, at 100yds.
RIght now I have a couple of other projects in the works, including a Sako AV getting rebarreled...so I'm in no rush to do anything to it. If my buddy takes the scope I'll put a Leupold MK AR 4-12 or VX2 3-9x on it for now.
So, anybody have any experience with the 600s good, bad, things to watch out for..or the Hart barrel? Maybe recognize the stock?

Had two of them one in .223 an another in 308. The 308 was not fun off the bench but near as bad as my friends 350 mag. The 223 was always with me an she put tons an tons of meat on the table. The 308 was only used for hunting what hunted you back an loaded with 180gr win silvertips was a one an done gun for year upon years. The 223 was my favorite though.
