REMINGTON 700 PROBLEMS

If you decide to have the receiver welded instead, you better be sure the person doing the work has a thorough understanding of the camming surfaces and how they work with each other.

He has primary extraction issues and doesn't have a competent gunsmith in Argentina that can fix it.

I recommend finding a welder that can do it this way:

I see several options.
One is to silver solder the handle in the proper position, which requires a jig.
The best thing about that is, if you mess it up, it's not permanent.

Second, you can silver solder it AND add a flush grub screw as insurance.

Third, TIG weld it, but you better have a very good welder, the stock remington handles are cast. You COULD buy a new bolt handle made from stainless steel.

Fourth, you can buy a new bolt, but that requires knowledge and tools as well. https://macbros.com/remington-700-replacement-bolt/
