Rifle Scopes remington lange range hunter

Hi. The Remington 700 Long Range is the economy version of the sendero. It sells for almost half the price of the sendero.

The barrel and action are essentially the same, but the Long Range appears to have a matte finish. It comes with a Bell & Carlson M40 stock with the aluminum bedding block, while the last Sendero I saw came with a wooden stock, which will give a greater degree of accuracy than the wood stock.

Basically, the short lived SPS Long Range (economy model Sendero) and the Long Range are lower end Sendero rifles. The Long Range has all of the features of the Sendero, but (in my opinion) a much better stock at the expense of outward finish.

In my opinion, go with the Long Range!

Wow! You've really got me confused with that post. Not sure exactly what you are trying to say, but there is at least one error. Senderos typically do not come with wood stocks. They are aluminum bedded HS Precision, which are at least as good, if not better than B&C.

Sorry for the confusion about the post. I became aware of the Sendero well before my accident and resultant concussion. Through the fog of the concussion, I remember the Sendero being offered with a walnut stock like the classic Remington 700 BDL rifles. Since the accident, I have seen Remington offer 2 lower priced Sendero models, the 700 SPS Long Range and the more recent 700 Long Range. I do remember the Sendero coming with an HS Precision stock, but I would ask, what makes the Sendero worth about$700 more than the Long Range, since the rifles appear to be comparable, the only stand out difference being finish?
