Remington R-25

Does anyone have experience with the remington R-25 in 223? A friend at work was aking me about them today and I hadnt heard anything about the accuracy of them. so any input would be great.

To clarify..are you asking the R-15...223 (amongst others) OR
R-25...308 (amongst others)

The R25 is the same pattern as the DPMS which I'm a fan of as are many others. The R15 is similar to just about any other AR, I dont own either by Remington but consider who else affiliates with them and reports either would work just fine. Not quite as "fancy" as other platforms but well.

Sorry, yes I guess it would be the R-15 because he was asking about the .223. I mainly wanted to hear some first hand experiences with it's accuracy. Personally I am not interested in one of these rifles just a friend was interested and thought I'd see what what came back to pass on to him.

Mine is a great rifle, I am hunter and retired GI, it fits.

It shoots, 4 rounds, 100 yards, from the bench. The stray is not my shot, a knot head had on stray while he sprayed. Sub MOA for sure.

Modern Rifle Adventures that comes on the outdoorchannel I believe uses these rifles each episode. The R15 is a great varmint rifle.
