I am getting ready for my next build. My last one was a tactical 6x47 Lapua built by Robert Gradous My plans will be the same for this one. Surgeon action, McMillian A5 Krieger barrel, Jewel trigger Sphur rings and a S&B 12-50X56 scope.

The only diiference will be is that it will be chambered for a 6XC for 600 and 1,000 yard shooting. The 6mm barrel should be ariving shortly.

What are your thoughts on the 6XC for resale value? It is somewhat of a specialized caliber for a specialized group of shooters and bult by the best gunsmiths I have ever worked with.

Re: Resale Value

The 6XC is a good caliber. I ran one in hi-power for several years. I shot 115's at longer ranges with good results. The only problem is you are limited on where you can buy brass and the 115's, or loaded ammo if thats what your after. Superior Shooting is the only source as far as I know.

Great advise. Thanks!

Re: Resale Value

The components are -top- notch.

The advice on getting what you want is good. And from the looks of your component selections, you will have no regrets.

I was shooting a tactical match and there was a guy with a 6 of some type. He had 4.x mil elevation at 850 yards. I thought my 260 was rocking at 6.1 mils.

Yup it will be unusual. But really isn't any precision rifle?
