We tried some new things this match. We tried 2 shooters shooting at the same time to speed thing up. We are getting a lot of shooters and having a hard time getting a lot of shooting in and still getting done at a decent time. Next match we will go back to using some paper to help speed things up.
Thanks to everyone that helped setup, take down, spot, score, and paint targets. Thanks to Werner for not shooting and helped RO the match. And a big thanks to Mark of Storm Tactical for the prize table items. Next match will be in February. We will announce shooter of the year at that match.

Congrats and good shooting "RK-Gumby"!,LOL.You too Randall!

Re: RESULTS Las Vegas Precision Tactical Rifle Match

Thanks Kurt and Werner. I had a blast and the COF was great if only we could get the multicam monster a set of hearing aids so he could hear the instructions alittle clearer.

Not sure what James was doing with the baby's sock?? I think he may keep his lucky rabbits foot in there!

Re: RESULTS Las Vegas Precision Tactical Rifle Match

Kurt, great match! I really liked the all steel format. More fun than paper.

And yes, paper speeds things a long a bit, but you can mitigate that by dividing the firing line into two seperate squads and essentially running them almost as seperate matches with dedicated spotters and a seperate shot timer for each. Each squad shoots a different COF at a time so the two sides are not shooting the same target at the same time. By then, the two squads end up shooting the same COF, just in a different order and you get done in half the time. Just a thought....

But it was a great match and I'm happy with whatever you end up running on any given day.
