An enjoyable warm fall day for us today. We had a small but enthusiastic group. 2 more new shooters to boot!

<span style="font-weight: bold">Open Class </span>

1. JDA Sr 197-17V
2. STP 196-21V
3. Dave B. 181-9V

<span style="font-weight: bold">F-T/R </span>

1. Daniel W. 170-4V

<span style="font-weight: bold">Bench Open </span>

1. Tim O. 194-21V
2. Greg L. 153-6

Jared B. showed up with a new .223 NEF SS, but struggled with a good zero at 240yds. Next time, he will be able to turn in a full score for me to post.

Also, Tim O. joined us today. He is a regular at Springwater and we enjoyed his participation and his company.

Dave B. used my 6BR and did very well for his first time at F-class. I think he`s still grinning...

Clearly fabulous conditions and great company. Celia kept her watch from inside the new Dodge Caravan.

Initial outing for the Sav .260 Predator Hunter Max. Learning the gun, it needs better handling than I gave it.

Next time will be in the Spring for that one, it's already cleaned real good and put up for the Winter.

Next time out, I'd like to have the 7.62x39 up and running, but the load development is still inconclusive. Fear not, fun was had (and will continue tbe had) in any case.

Initial load development still doesn't improve on the PMC FMJ, which is holding at around 1-2MOA at 100yd. Not bad for a Scout with factory FMJ, but not what I'm looking for either. So far, there appears to be a good blip with the 110gr V-Max and around 25.8gr of IMR-4198.

The 30BR project is gaining some momentum. I expect mine to debut some time into next Spring's schedule. This mates the old Dancer with a homebrew 23" 1:10" barrel.

Somewhere in all this, I still need to get the .280 Rem project back onto the rails too.

This stuff is <span style="font-style: italic">FUN!</span> Thank you Scotty for continuing to make this possible.
