I need help please. I am using an AI AX338 with the LRA bipod, muzzle brake and adjustable target buttpad. I am having problems with my reticle going almost a full target board to the left at times. Most of the time though it will move 2 feet left at 200 yds. I have been watching all the recoil management videos and have purchased the Day One And Magpul Precision DVDs. I am testing my NPA and it is fine. I am dry firing and my sights don't move. I am getting 1/2 MOA groups at 200 and they group well but I do want to have that straight back recoil. I am getting that with my SR25 and my Bolt gun but they are suppressed. Please help because I am not too sure if its because I am holding it wrong or the cartridge is a magnum.
I did try researching this topic and I can't find much. Some say its because you drive with your shoulder too much. Here is what I have done and doing. I have tried driving the bipod up against a hard surface so I can load the bipod heavy for the cartridge, didn't work. I tried what Lowlight suggested and just load the bipod but don't drive the shoulder into the rifle, still didn't work. With those two trials I tried very light grip to allow the recoil which was the worst. Then I tried pulling with the 3 fingers into the shoulder but not wrap my thumb around, still a problem but better. Then I tried same thing but my thumb wrapped around with a handshake grip, better but still hops off target. I tried sandbag and bipod and both is the same result. I tried adjusting the buttpad to the left, right, up and down.
Please help
