A little about me... I was born in Scranton, PA and after being trained by both of my grandfathers about firearm safety and basic marksmanship I was granted the authority to keep the woodchuck population in check on both dairy farms with a single shot .22 rifle while visiting.

Fast forward to 1976 and a move to Nezperce, ID when my dad retired from trucking. I really loved the rivers and our National Forests!

Joined the Army in 85 and retired in 05.

Currently working on my second retirement in TX, where I have finally had chance to have my first custom long range rifle in .300 Norma Mag built !

I just need to make more time to enjoy it and learn about long range shooting that doesn’t require sending grid coordinates to the FDC!

Sure don’t, I was 11 when we moved to Idaho. I still have friends and relatives in PA, and an aunt who has 100 acres (prior dairy farm) out by Lake Wallenpaupack.

Thanks guys.
Been living in Kingsville, Texas since 2006, just been super busy.
I was stationed at FT Hood twice, and spent 2 wonderful years thawing out at FT Sam Houston, after spending 3 years in FT Wainwright, Alaska.

I grew up right next to FT Hood, couldn't wait to get out of there. Only thing I miss about Hood/Killeen was Ms. Kim and her barber shop off Rancier. Only lady to cut my hair for the 1st 17 years of my life lol.
