I used H-4831sc with the Hybrids in the testing a few months back. Some tried H-1000 with good results.
Retumbo might be a tad slow for the 250s, but give it a whirl. Look up in the reloading depot, tacked at the top of this forum.
The Sierra V manual lists their 250s over Retumbo, starting at 89.6gr-94.6grs, FWIW. Maybe with the Bergers, you start there?

Chris, Good info all. I had called both Hodgdon & Berger & they had no data on the 250's, only 300's which I had been shooting with Retumbo. That tells me it's not an optimum combo. May try the Sierra numbers just for fun but will lean towards H1000 since lots of data on that for both grains; and as you suggest, it should be a little bit faster. Thanks.

I'm running 95.0 grains of Retumbo in my TRG42, 1:12 twist, 250 Scenar, Hornady brass, WLRM primers @ ~2940 fps.
