I don't think anybody can tell you a formula, every time I have switched rings the point of impact has moved in every direction but not a whole lot!

Why are you making something harder than it has to be? Just mount your new scope, boresight it or stick a laser in it, and zero it just like you did the first time. It won't be too far off anyway.

Sorry I wasn't thinking about when I posted, so I edited it out. I was more interested in trying to figure how to rezero my scope.
