RHINELAND LEOPARD FOR SAVAGE MK2

Re: RHINELAND LEOPARD FOR SAVAGE MK2

Yes, it is ergonomically almost like an AICS stock. That is why I am putting it under my Savage MK II. When my centerfire rebuild comes back, (I am re-barreling my .308 to 6.5 Creedmoor, Kreiger is doing the work)it should really help. I just had cervical spine surgery and the lower recoil will allow me to still shoot and compete. So I hope this stock works out well, cuz the 6.5 is going to have a AICS 1.5 under it. Also, right now the gun is set up with a Tacticool stock. Great stock, kind of light though, and tuff to bed. The Rhineland, you can pillar bed.

there have been posts on this stock before (probably different action)...maybe not here, but elsewhere I know. Do some googling (yahoo is where I've seen it) and you'll come up a few hits.

Thanks for the reminder...I might go that route instead of the AICS for my Izhmash (real PIA for the AICS)

I was trying o get them to be a vendor here and do a group buy... I think they need some more calls from you guys??? Those stocks would sell like fire here?

My wife and daughter's Leopard MKII

I put this together for them as they did not like the larger thumbhole of the original stock.

This rig will shoot accurately at 300Y... I may still inlet and bed it; however, it shoots very, very well so for now I will let them just practice and enjoy.

The chassis is very tight.. and there will be some leisurely sanding needed down the barrel side..but a good little project.

I've got a 17HMR in one, I really like the stock. Adjustable butt and cheek, made of solid walnut not soft birch like the tacticool. It also come with several attachment points. I added pillars to mine but it shot fine without them. I was going to leave it natural but I've decided to paint it. Rhineland arms sells them, Rhineland arms
