Just read the article. All I can say is...
WOW! You know the world is going crazy when the ACLU is on our side!

ACLU only has its panties in a wad on the "hypothetical" that someone would abuse the laws.

I mean laugh my ass off they said the same crazy shit about the Patriot Act, come on really?

It still has to get through our senate but I am sure it will. As much as I oppose any limits on ownership, I felt it would be much worse. Only affected items appear to be bump fire stocks and binary triggers.

My real issue is the red flag law that got through. Details are hazy about how it works. I know I am not an attorney but it seems to violate a person's 4th amendment and quite possibly your 1st amendment. I am really at a loss to understand why this has not been challenged in the courts directly.
