Rifle Basix Savage MkII trigger?

Re: Rifle Basix Savage MkII trigger?

yes, i have one in my MKII (10 oz.), my savage .308 (10 oz.), and in my marlin .22 mag (8 oz.). worth every penny. highly adjustable, easy installation. the lowest prices i've found are at midsouth shooters and eabco (e. arthur brown). jewels and timneys are great, however the rifle basix are a really good value for the price, and as with any trigger work, changes the whole feel and use of the rifle, and in the case of the marlin, seems like a totally different rifle.

Re: Rifle Basix Savage MkII trigger?

I have a Rifle Basix in my Savage FP10. It is an excellent trigger. Easy to setup and install, and it works 100% and has been reliable and consistent for years. When the X mark on my Remington 700 starts to suck, it too will be replaced with a Rifle Basix trigger.

BTW, I got mine from Cabela's, cheap.
