Rifle case deals?

Like the previous poster said, the Pelican Vault is a great bang for buck. This is the one I got most recently; it's only 53" inside but it's made for two rifles and I just set it up for one rifle. It's an absolute tank, dwarfs a Pelican 1750. This is about the best place to buy. Add it to your cart and it's $155. Shipping is usually about $10 with these guys.

They're definitely inferior, but should get the job done. I've got a Pelican 1720 and a Vault V800; plastic is a bit lighter/thinner in the Vault, and the attachments aren't as solid (thought still pretty good).
MidwayUSA usually has them on sale, and you can get usually find the V800 for $140 on sale (with prices scaled down appropriately for the V730 etc.).
Yeah, I have both and you can't beat the Pelican case, but Vault series is quite good for the money.

Good idea, didn't even think of this. I'm with OP and needing a good case for PRS.
I just picked up a vault v730 for $150 locally to store my Ruger precision rifle (folded). It works great, stores everything I need and is strong enough for the job. Definitely not as bombproof as a regular pelican or skb case, though.
This reply came up on my search when looking for a case for a folded RPR. The Pelican v730 is just perfect. Some other cases are just not thick enough or padded right(ie Plano all-weather). The v730 has 5 foam pieces, removing the bottom most thin foam made the folded RPR sit perfectly, no need to adjust the lid foam. Hope this help other RPR looking for a case.

www.buycasesforless.com is where I buy mine from, I haven’t found cheaper shipped to my door from anyone else yet. Pelican Vault V800 is $170 shipped which is a pretty good price in my opinion.
