Is there something I can add to my JP that would let me release the bolt with my right hand.

It's really annoying that it's on the left side. It means I either have to drop the round before I'm ready and cook the round jn the chamber or I have to get in position then disrupt it to drop the bolt.

Obviously this is only a problem in precision scenarios, not run and gun. Lastly I know some lowers like pof/kac have that feature. I'm looking for a solution to my existing rifle.

    Thanks

Phase 5 has a one peice 308 version if you dont mind the intrusion into the already tight trigger space inside the trigger guard.

Hmm I did see that but my concern was how fugly it is and the space requirement in the trigger guard. I might have to try that if there isn't another option though.

Yea dude, i think it'll be a waste of money on JPs. The JP uppers are a tad on the thicker side and have a bit deeper cut for the std bolt release. While any of those options with that type of design - B.A.D Lever, Phase 5, Tactical Link, etc. - will work, they wont do so without scratching the F out of your upper. Assuming it's a 308 you could hold out for Teal Blue Bravo's PDQ release in 308 version. If your JP is a small frame AR15 then youre gtg as those versions are available now. Thats really the only option i know of that doesnt travel through your trigger guard.

Not really. KAC doesnt have DPMS receiver cuts. In addition to that, some DPMS cut lowers do have that. Lancer's lower does, Rainier's lower does, as well as a POF with the inclusion of a $40 set of bushings from Hogan.
