Suppressors rimfire suppressor cover?

Is there a use for a rimfire suppressor cover? Never owned a rimfire suppressor so no idea how hot they get.

If you are throwing it on a bolt gun do it just for the cool factor. Probably 90% of my suppressed .22 shooting is with an ar and the van is under the hand guard.

I started using this stuff to protect my can but it also allows me to grab the can when its hot from binary trigger fun. Works really well.

I will put an average of 500 rounds threw mine in one range session between the mk pistols and my cmmg ar pistol

Even with several full auto mag dumps, they dont get that hot.
